Owner Megan Moore has always had a flare for beauty and fashion- starting at a young age, she began experimenting with hair color on herself and her friends (all the parents involved were thrilled :) and at age 17 she enrolled in cosmetology school while finishing her senior year of high school. Megans young career was shaped early on when both of the first two salons she worked at eventually went out of business. This opened her eyes to the challenges that the salon industry faces, and also sparked the idea and goal to open her own salon with a different approach. At age 21, Megan opened Moore Hair Design with the idea that the salon experience should be customized to every client who enters the door.

Moores philosophy starts by pairing the right stylist with the right client to achieve optimal results. Our designers are highly trained in all aspects of hairstyling, but also have specialties within their field. We strive to ask the right questions and discuss your goals and needs during the consultation process, to ensure your hair color, cut and style is a reflection of you. We call this the Good Hair Rx

Almost a decade and a half later, Moore Hair Design has been the recipient of many business awards, been featured in local press and magazines, and even been the ‘set’ for a couple TV commercials. The salon has grown and evolved, but the roots have stayed the same.
